| Build the Marriage of a Lifetime - Attend a Marriage
Preparation Programme |
A good marriage begins with the decision to live with, appreciate and enjoy the
person you are going to marry. It takes commitment, effort and skills to sustain
a strong happy marriage, and we encourage you to participate in a marriage
preparation programme to build a strong foundation for your life journey
together.
Marriage preparation programmes help prepare couples for a healthy and enriching
marriage and family life. These programmes help lay the foundation for the
marriage, and equip couples with practical skills and knowledge to manage issues
such as conflict resolution and communication. There are several voluntary
welfare organisations and family service centres that offer marriage preparation
programmes which is supported by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth
and Sports (MCYS). Details on the available marriage courses for year 2011 can
