Language Interpreters / Embassies
Certified Interpreters
When you are foreigner and not conversant with the English/Mandarin/Tamil Language, please make personal arrangements for a Certified Interpeter to be present:

for Stautory Declaration and Documents Verification at ROM, and

for Solemnisation
   
When a party is not conversant with the English, Mandarin or Tamil Language

You are required to arrange and bring along a Certified Interpreter
a) when you come to ROM to verify documents/perform Statutory Declaration
b) for your solemnisation

Please ensure documents that are in foreign languages are translated into English. Your Embassy should be able to assist you
Can a friend be a foreign language interpreter?
No, only an interpreter who is certified by the Courts or from the respective country's Embassy will be accepted.
 
When original documents required are not in the English Language
You are advised to have all the required documents translated to the English language. Your respective Embassies should be able to assist.
Embassies
When documents required by us are in a foreign language, please contact your country's embassy to translate the documents into the English version. Please ensure that all translated documents are duly certified and endorsed.
