Temporary relocation of ROM
ROM will be operating at Ministry of National Development (MND) Building Annexe B, 4th Storey, 7 Maxwell Road, Singapore 069111 from 26 January 2010 to February 2011 while the existing building at Canning Rise undergoes renovation.
Before you invite a Solemniser (LS)
Always go to 'list of Licensed Solemnisers' to check. If a name is not found, it means that the person is no longer licensed to solemnise your marriage.

To minmise disruptions to your wedding plans, do not invite a LS more than 4 months in advance of your solemnisation.

Peak Days and Hours
Peak Days: Day before and after a weekend and public holiday.
Peak Hours: Between 10am and 2pm
Appointment for Verification of Documents & Statutory Declaration (VD/SD)
The grant of a marriage licence to you is subject to legal time-frame. Therefore, please do not change the VD/SD appointment.

Launch of Free Online Marriage Records Search Service

From 1 May 2010, a free online marriage records search service is available to SingPass users on the Internet. The number of free searches is limited to two per person over a 12-month period. Please click here for the press release and click here to access the service.

a. Book a date/time for solemnisation.
b. Enter couples' details
(incl. name/Identity No. of 2 witnesses).
c. Make payment via Credit Card.
d. Print a copy of the Receipt and FILING INSTRUCTIONS, and follow up on what to do, what to bring, when to go ROM
(the allocated date will be 3-5 working days before the date of solemnisation) for verification of documents, Statutory Declaration, etc.
